Power/ Control Cable and Conductor is manufactured with high conductivity copper wires and insulated with high density polyethylene compound and colour coded. The Cable and Conductor has the feature that the laid up quads are filled with synthetic/ petroleum jelly compound and provided with a polyester tape wrapping and moisture barrier tape. The Cable and Conductor has an inner sheath of polyethylene compound that is provided to prevent ingress of water. The Power/ Control Cable and Conductor is designed in such a manner that over the inner sheath, a metal screening of aluminium wires/ strips with barium chromatic tape and thereafter, an extruded intermediate sheath of PVC/ LDPE is provided as per the requirement of specification.
